Resonant extractor

The resonant extractor is a device that converts the Top Drive's rotational energy into axial motion for freeing a stuck tubular.

US Patent 9,045,957 was granted for the device and a prototype was built and laboratory tested.

Field testing of the device required an internal chamption to evaluate realistic field performance.
